POWER-E-COM participate in an Interesting Project Summit in Brussels | The POWER-E-COM
project was represented on 13 and 14 March 2024 at the “Contractors’
meeting – Energy communities”, which was organised by CINEA. Project
coordinator Ingo Ball (WIP) and Co-coordinator Francisco Puente (ESCAN)
participated in the meeting in Brussels and presented the project. Most
importantly, it was an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas and
experiences on fostering energy communities in Europe. The main topics
discussed in Brussels were energy sharing, capacity building for
municipalities and citizens, financing, so-called one-stop-shops (called
ECTO in POWER-E-COM), and of course, how energy communities could
tackle energy poverty. On the photo, Francisco Puente and Ingo Ball are
showing the POWER-E-COM poster.
